PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW

Professional
Summary

I am currently attending North Carolina Central University, in the Master's of Library Science Program, where I maintain a 4.0 GPA. In addition to my current role as an Outreach Coordinator at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, I have created, led and hosted several successful events, programs, and initiatives. Additionally, I have worked on many large scale projects and events ranging from digital media to diversity and inclusion projects.

I previously founded and operated a nonprofit organization that focused on providing teen domestic violence prevention education through literacy, advocacy, and intervention. This nonprofit operated for two years. During this time, I managed volunteers, secured and maintained partnerships, managed budgets, raised funds and donations in the community and build relationships with teens. I also served on the Mecklenburg County Teen Dating Violence Awareness Committee during this time as well.
