Professional
Summary

I recently completed my Master's in Library Science Degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina Central University. In addition to my current role as an Outreach Coordinator at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, I have created, led and hosted several successful events, programs, and initiatives. Additionally, I have worked on many large scale projects and events ranging from digital media to diversity and inclusion.

I previously founded and operated a nonprofit organization that focused on providing teen domestic violence prevention education through literacy, advocacy, and intervention. This nonprofit operated for two years. During this time, I managed volunteers, secured and maintained partnerships, managed budgets, raised funds and donations in the community and built relationships with teens. I also served on the Mecklenburg County Teen Dating Violence Awareness Committee during this time as well.
